Delivery Information

Shipping Times

We're only a small team here at 3 Peaks Cycles and can be very busy at times but we usually manage to despatch all items in stock at our store orders placed before 1pm the same day.

Please note DPD collect from us Monday to Friday so any orders placed Friday afternoon 1pm onwards will leave us on the following Monday.

DPD usually only deliver Monday-Friday

Tracking information and delivery slot will be emailed and sent to you via text and you'll be able to change it if you like.

Some items may not be at our store but in stock with our supplier or in our warehouse. This is indicated on the product page and will incur a slightly longer despatch time.

For all items, estimated despatch is indicated on every product page and on the basket page.

Some items may be shipped direct from our warehouse may be sent with an alternative courier.

We try to use sustainable and non-plastic packaging wherever possible.

We reserve the right to use an alternative courier.

Please note we may be unable to deliver some Thule bike carriers due to their size and weight though they may be collected from our store. Please contact us to double check before ordering.

NB - If (on the rare occasion) your delivery does not arrive within the expected time frame, please contact us immediately.
DPD allow a claim window of 14 days for 'lost' parcels. If you contact us after this we may not be able to resolve any issues.


Bike Shipping & Collection

We can ship standard bikes but we no longer ship electric bikes. This website may still allow you to order an electric bike and proceed through the checkout process but we are unable to ship electric bikes. They must be collected from our store.

Although we will pack the bike as well as we can, couriers can be rough. So if the packaging is visibly damaged then do not sign for the goods without noting the packing is damaged.

We can not be held responsible for damage caused by the courier after a package has been signed in good condition and no refund will be offered as we are unable to claim against the courier insurance if you have signed for the item been in good condition.

Please check the contents for damage before signing for your delivery. Claims for courier damage can only be entertained if we are notified in writing within 24 hours fo receipt,

If using click and collect, only the person who placed the order can pick up the bike. This is to help prevent fraud.

When using click and collect we will require photo ID, your order number, and the bank card used to pay any deposit.

We will also require your signature.


Other Information:


If your delivery address is in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland delivery times may be extended, depending on where exactly you live.

Deliveries cannot be made to PO Box addresses. We strongly advises against deliveries to be made to hotels, workplaces or multiple occupancy premises, or third party couriers. Any orders made, to be sent to a hotel, workplace or multiple occupancy premises or a third party courier, are entirely at the risk of the client. Therefore, we regret to inform, that we cannot accept any liability for orders that fail to arrive to the above, or are damaged on receipt. We will, however, do what we can to help in cases like these.


Not received your package?


Firstly, please check to see if you have received an email from us and also a tracking email from the relevant deleivery service used for your order, telling you your order has been sent. If you haven't received any emails confirming your order, then email on hello@3peakscycles.com or give us a call on 01729 824232 and we will be able to help.

In the unlikely event that you've not had your item(s) delivered in the timeframe that was provided, please get in touch by calling the shop or emailing hello@3peakscycles.com . Make sure you've got your order reference number or details to hand (you'll find this in your order confirmation email).


Damaged order/packaging

If the packaging is visibly damaged then do not sign for the goods without noting the packing is damaged. If once unpacked, you find your order items have been damaged in transit, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving them.

Please note: if you have instructed the courier to leave your package on your doorstep or in another insecure place, we cannot claim for missing items or damage to your package. We therefore strongly recommend that you ask the courier to leave your package with a trusted neighbour, or collect it from a local delivery depot.
