Cycle Hire Terms and Conditions
By reading this disclaimer and paying for your bike hire, agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
3 Peaks Cycles Ltd. will accept no responsibility or liability for any personal injury or loss caused while riding during the hire period especially during very inclement weather.
It is fully understood that you are responsible for any eventuality that may occur including theft of or damage to our equipment, and/or accidents caused by yourself or any third party during the hire period.
3 Peaks Cycles Ltd. strongly recommend that you wear one of our helmets which are provided free of charge during the hire period .
3 Peaks Cycles accepts no responsibility for flat tyres, late trains or bad weather. All our bikes are checked before and after every ride and are fully maintained.
3 Peaks Cycles will provide you with a spare tube, levers and repair kit for your ride. It is up to you to know how to use them. We do not offer any kind of rescue service.
Please note that all bikes are inspected on return and all damages must be paid for.
Full payment is required in order to secure your booking.
1 day hire = the same as our opening hours, not a 24 hour period. We require all hires to be returned half an hour before we close.
A late return deposit of £50 will be charged to you when you collect your bike(s). This will be refunded to you if the bikes are returned within the specified time.
Cancellations within 14 days of your booking are non-refundable
3 Peaks Cycles don't hire tag-alongs or baby seats.
3 Peaks Cycles reserves the right to refuse hire.
The minimum age to hire an electric bike is 14.
If you intend to transport the bike to the start of your ride (possibly for riding at Gisburn Forest 7 miles away) it will need to be transported using a proper bike rack or in a van without removing the wheels.
