Return Policy

The Return Policy below applies to standard non-faulty returns only.

If there is a problem with an item you have received or if you believe a product has developed a fault, please get in touch with our Customer Service Team in the first instance and we'll decide on the best course of action from there.

Important: If you have bought a bike from us online, any warranty issues will be dealt with on an RTB (return to base) basis. This means you will need to get the bike to us for inspection should the need arise and will be liable for any transport costs. If you are unable or unwilling to do this and need to take it to a bike shop more local to yourself - you will be liable for any costs and/or repairs charged by that bike shop.

Return Policy

If you receive an order and find you have changed your mind or the item just isn’t right for you, don’t worry. Goods can be returned for a refund within 14 days from the date of purchase (subject to the product exclusions outlined below).

Unwanted items are returned at your own cost.

Goods must be returned in an unused, re-saleable condition, with their original packaging, and all labels still attached. They should also be securely packaged in a sealed box, to ensure the contents are protected during transit. Our Returns Team will review all items to ensure they meet the criteria outlined in this Returns Policy. If an item is returned outside of our Returns Policy, we may be unable to process a full refund. We will contact you in such circumstances.

All refunds will be issued to the original payment method on the order within 14 days of receipt at our warehouse. Once the refund has been processed by us it can take 3-5 working days depending on your payment provider.

Product Exclusions

There are some exclusions to our Returns Policy, as detailed below:

  • Nutritional products or those with a best before date cannot be returned.
  • Personalised or customised items, such as wheel builds, cannot be returned.
  • GPS systems, such as sports watches or cycle computers, can only be returned if unregistered.
  • For hygiene reasons, any intimate garments, such as padded shorts, underwear and swimsuits, cannot be returned.
  • Gift vouchers cannot be returned.

Please note, 3 Peaks Cycles reserve the right to refuse a return if we believe the purpose was for stock trading/reselling and not personal use.

If you wish to return a bike that just isn't for you then it must reach us in a brand new re-saleable condition. If you have ridden it a few times (especially with ebikes as the mileage will go up) then we may not be able to offer a full refund. This will be assessed on a case by case basis. You are also responsible for the return shipping and any damage that may happen in transit.
We strongly suggest trying any bike first instead of just buying blind online.

This Return Policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Bradley Wiggins: The Story of Britains Greatest Ever Cyclist

Wednesday 1 August 2012 will live forever in the memory of all those who witnessed Bradley Wiggins's stunning Time Trial gold at the London 2012 Olympics.

And this less than 10 days after his sensational Tour de France triumph, when he became the first Briton to top the podium. But Wiggins is not just famous for winning. His personality and style - his sideburns are so famous that tabloid newspapers were providing cut-outs for fans to wear on the morning of the Olympic race - have earned him the status of national hero. Wiggins is no overnight champion.

He has been at the top of his sport for over a decade and this new illustrated book celebrates the life of this great man, who is now Britain's greatest-ever Olympian and road racer. As a kid, while his friends had posters of footballers on their bedroom walls, Wiggins idolised the great Spanish cyclist, Miguel Indurain, setting the scene for a career in the saddle.

The book details every aspect of his rise to the top of his game, alternating between the twin disciplines of the velodrome - where he dominated the Pursuit events at the 2004 and 2008 Olympics - and the world of professional road racing, culminating in the magical summer of 2012. It looks at the hours of training, the great cyclists he has competed both against and alongside, life at Team Sky and the family life he now enjoys. Along the way, the full character of this most unusual of sporting champions is revealed in pictures, narrative and quotes.

His outspoken comments on doping, his love of mod fashion and his witty, quietly spoken persona all combine to provide the complete story of a man who is already a legend.
