3 Peaks Cycles was established in 2005 in the Yorkshire Dales town of Settle. We pride ourselves on customer service and offering the widest range of bikes, parts, accessories and clothing for miles around. We have over 150 bikes across two floors. Our café opened in April 2017 and serves excellent artisan roasted coffee and locally produced food. Our workshop can deal with the majority of issues and if you need a bike to hire we have some excellent mountain bikes to cope with the local routes.
3 Peaks Cycles is set in the heart of excellent cycling country, whether you prefer riding on the roads, on trails or cross country. The Way of the Roses goes right past our front door; the Settle Loop, part of the Pennine Bridleway, starts in front of the shop. Our namesake, the gruelling 3 Peaks Cyclocross Race, starts just up the road in Helwith Bridge every September.
We are dealers for Ridley, Orange, Genesis, Ridgeback, Diamondback, Saracen, Adventure and Lapierre bike brands. We have bikes for roadies, MTB’ers of all persuasions, tourers, children, commuters and shoppers, not forgetting the increasingly important e-bikes.
We also offer a very wide range of parts and accessories from Camelbak, Giro, Kryptonite, Cateye, Hope, San Marco, Garmin, Lifesystems, Pro, Continental, Maxxis, Shimano and Park Tool - to name but a few.
We have a superb range of clothing from Madison and Pearl Izumi for both the lycra-clad or those who prefer looser fitting garments. Whatever the season we have jerseys, shorts, waterproof jackets (all year round!), thermals and tights as well as gloves, helmets, socks and all the little things you need.
If you don’t have a bike or need to hire one, we stock a complete range of very capable Genesis Core 20 hardtails, great for trail centre routes or a canter around the local roads. Watch out for our e-bikes for hire coming in spring 2018.
Our fully equipped Park Tools workshop and experienced staff can cater from everything from a quick fix to a full overhaul. Do you want to bling up your tired steed? We can can get equipment quickly from Shimano, Hope or other brands so that you can give your bike a new lease of life. Going past the door and need some air? Just pop in and borrow a track pump.
Our bike staff are all riders and can advise on the local routes or trails and highlight all of the best bits, or those best avoided. We have maps of local routes so you can go out straight to the best bits of this special corner of the Yorkshire Dales.
For a little extra you can take out one of our full suspension demo machines from Lapierre or Saracen – then deduct the money spent from the cost of a shiny new one!
Our team is happy to advise you on any aspect of bike riding. Give us a call or e-mail us and we will do our best to help you.
